Outted on the Web - Slut faces the rath

I recently read a post by some who knew of a married lady who was going across the border to Buffalo, NY to have an extra-marital affair. WE DON'T JUDGE - I won't be making any statements about this. Only that I find the web an incredibly dangerous place. People can make the most outlandish, most slanderus statement without any fear of reprisal. At some point we need to know who is saying what - the damage that can be done is severe.

Technology should be improving communication not ruining peoples lives and their reputations. Yes this is a bit off topic - apologies for that. This is something that we all need to address.
